The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Painting is my passion! My art education began at age thirteen. Later, I studied at Three Schools in Toronto and the Buckhorn School of Fine Art. I began to paint seriously and to teach in the early 70s. Many of my students have developed their own careers in fine art. My work has sold in the Art Gallery of Hamilton and the Burlington Art Center, Ontario, Canada where I served as president of the Fine Arts Association in the nineties. I completed six years of teaching art on the college level in Puerto Rico. My works are presently found in Galaria Topacio in Bayamon and Dorado, on the Island.
