This image was taken in Estes Park, Colorado at the lake. A thin layer of ice formed across many of the rocks where the water crashed against the edge of the lake overnight and froze. There were several large sheets with some neat natural designs. These thin ice layers started to thaw and quickly broke as the sun came up and started warming the air.
