The process of making this photograph took me in a 2 1/2 hr, 160 mile trip from Houston. Checking the forecast to make sure there would be beautiful clouds above the Austin skyline, I parked my car roughly a mile away from this vantage point. It was around 8:15 and the temperature was 95 F, so I must have lost 5 lbs trying to get to this point from the parking lot.
