An image taken on a private beach in Cape Cod with added textures and components. This image won 1st place in the digital/photography division and 3rd place overall in Light, Space & Time's 2013 SeaScapes juried competition. I'm so thrilled I'm walking on air!

At times, all that remains
of the graceful, promising ship
in which we once set sail,
onto which we had bravely loaded
and entrusted our adventurous dreams,
provisioned with the sparkling
citrus of hope, the ballast of reason,
is a rotting hulk cast upon some
lonely shore, beached and broken,
darkening with age and petrifying
with desperate abandonment.
We misread the silent stars perhaps,
encountered reefs that were unmapped,
were blown aground with the violence
of the fierce and unexpected hurricane,
the savage force of even...

As many of you are aware, Lianne is no longer with us. I am her son, Gordie, and have kept her account active to preserve the passion she had with her art and this community.
