A totally adequate purchase - nothing outstanding, nothing problematic. Since the original was one of your stock images, I cannot speak to whether this was a clear image, besides which the original was a watercolor, so clarity is not essential to the success of the image. I predict that a larger image would lack clarity. But I'm generally satisfied.

My husband and I had a lovely trip to Paris and southern France last July. While on a bus trip we were able to take a photo of this cafe that we share a name with. Our photo was a little blurry and not good for enlargement. Your wonderful photo now hangs in our own kitchen as a nice reminder of that trip. It is beautiful and of very good quality. We love it. Thank you Mary Flore

This is one of three pieces that I am adding to my collection. Once I have received the other two pieces I will be happy to provide a photograph of the display. The quality of the art piece is exceptional. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase even more pieces!

Artist's Description

A tangle of roots of a pot-grown plant of Buddleja globosa, the Orange Ball Tree; a native of Chile and Argentina. The plant is pot-bound; prolonged culture in a flower-pot has resulted in the roots entirely filling the container. As the roots reach the edges of the pot, they continue to grow, eventually showing no geotropism due to the restricted space available. Instead they from a tangled mass encircling the soil within the pot. In good horticultural practice, this condition should be forestalled by repotting or planting out. A pot bound plant put into open ground will often fail to produce an extensive and deep root system, resulting in poor growth of the plant and possible death due to failure to access sufficient water and nutrients.
