About this Group
The focus of this group is the lighthouse, whether it's painted, a drawing, or a Photograph.
So! Before you put your artwork here make sure I know the subject is a Lighthouse! If there is a question in my mind and I have to work to figure it out... You won't like the outcome... Please follow the rules...
Please put the lighthouse name in the title. Please make my job easier by naming the lighthouse as the title or the first keyword. I get grumpy if I have to go to your page and read the description.
Lighthouses are both real and tangible examples of our history along with romantic notions of the sea and making a living on or around the ocean.
These structures have guided mariners for hundreds of years and helped to keep them from watery doom by virtue of the men and women who run and maintain the beacons.
I invite fellow lovers of those beautiful beacons to add their original works to this group.
I'm allowing 2 submissions per day.
Please fully describe the lighthouse, if I see a Wikipedia description (FYI, Google hates duplicate content) So please put some thought into the descriptions and tell the art buyer why this lighthouse and your rendition are important.
