Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You†to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

As I raced up the dunes to catch the sunset, it came apparent that they went on longer than I thought. Every hill getting slightly higher and every time I thought "this is it, the last one!". Out of breath from running up hills, finally I reached the end after several "last one" thoughts... The Dunes, Nags Head, North Carolina.
Mike Ver Sprill is an artist and photographer who lives his life to the beat of his own drum. He loves to venture out to distant and remote areas just to capture a single photograph. Driving for hours and sometimes days with very little sleep, those are the moments when he realizes his passion has become an obsession.
