Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

The Crater Lake was majestic on this spring day. As often, no clouds. They say that the Crater Lake has three seasons: July, August and Winter. This photo was taken on the first! This lake is a caldera, resulting from the eruption of different volcanoes some 7,700 years ago, when a violent eruption triggered the collapse of a tall peak. Fed by rain and snow, it’s the deepest lake in the USA and one of the most pristine on earth. Artists and sightseers marvel at its blue water and stunning setting atop the Cascade Mountain Range.
