Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

A beautifully detailed antique, vintage map from the year 1884, of an aerial view over Missoula, Montana, County Seat of Missoula County. This wonderfully nostalgic piece of history is from the Public Domain, and is by Henry Wellge adn Beck & Pauli Lithographers of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, published by J.J. Stoner. Also included, below the map are individual inserts showing proposed plans for Rail Road shops and views of the South Side of Front Street. There is also an index of prominent architecture of the area and a list of buildings of note, including churches, schools, stores and manufacturers. This map has been restored and converted to black and white.
I'm a travel photographer and photo artist. I like to explore every nook and cranny of anywhere I visit and I'm always looking out for something unusual or unique, weird and wonderful, interesting and intriguing. For me, half the challenge is in the initial taking of the photo, the looking for something that catches my attention, getting that perfect composition, but the other half is in the processing, the tweaking and twisting and the addition of a little imagination to see how much detail I can bring to the surface and hopefully let the viewer see the same as I did when I took the shot. My images have been shot here, there and everywhere, mainly in the historic cities of Europe and with the occasional one taken in my own surroundings...
