Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

American Crows are common birds of fields, open woodlands, and forests. While driving through Cades Cove in Great Smoky Mountains National Park, we saw many crows in addition to other wildlife. As we stopped for a meadow view, this crow posed so nicely for me on a fence post, while keeping an eye on both the meadow and on us. This idyllic valley is surrounded by mountains, which are visible rising up in the background.
Nature has always played a significant role in my life. On walks with my dad when I was a child, I was taught to notice the world around me and appreciate the wonder of nature and all of God's creation.
