Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

View southeasterly of the Utica Covered Bridge in the late afternoon, autumn sun as it crosses Fishing Creek just east of the Catoctin Mountains in Frederick County, Maryland.. Also known as the Utica Mills Covered Bridge, this bridge was rebuilt from remnants of the Devilbiss Covered Bridge which originally stood only a few miles from its current location as that bridge crossed the Monocacy River. The original bridge was swept away in the late 1800's by a major flood. The Utica Covered Bridge was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.
