Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Lady of the Lake is a pivotal figure in the Legend of King Arthur and Camelot.
The Lady, known as Nimue or Vivienne raised Lancelot, enchanted Merlin and gave Arthur the magical sword Excalibur.
The Lady of the Lake was the ruling Priestess of Avalon, she was Fae not mortal.
As a young girl she enchanted Merlin who taught her all his secrets, she later became the foster mother to Sir Lancelot.
King Arthur had fought a long battle and would not have lived save for Merlin.
As they rode together Arthur said, ‘I have no sword, but Merlin told him to be patient and he would soon have one.
In a little while they came to a large lake, and in the midst of the lake they saw a woman rising from the lake holding up a sword.
That is the Lady of the Lake, said Merlin, and she is coming to you, and if you ask her courteously she will give you the sword.
