Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….

Sixto Luna, a visionary artist of Taíno descent, was born in Kiskeya, more commonly known as the Dominican Republic. Graduating with a B.S. in Information Science from Syracuse University, he later achieved a master's degree from the prestigious Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at the Tisch School of the Arts, NYU, in 2003. His artwork resides at the intersection of digital mediums and traditional old master techniques. It was not until a 2017 painting workshop with visionary artist Amanda Sage that Sixto picked up a brush for the first time, igniting an obsession with the 'Mischtechnik' (oil and tempera painting). His pursuit of artistic growth continued with master painters Aloria Weaver and David Heskin, where he delved...
