Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
Section of the tongue with thrush, light micrograph. Oral thrush is a mycosis (yeast infection) caused by the fungus Candida species on the mucous membranes of the mouth. Epithelial dysplasia (disturbance in proliferation), inflammatory cells and debris are all present. It is characterized by a coating or individual patches of pseudomembranous white slough (upper red layer) that can be easily wiped away to reveal erythematous, and sometimes minimally bleeding, mucosa beneath. Magnification: x80 when printed at 10 centimetres wide.
