Just what I wanted for a new iPhone. A special “Thank You” to artist ‘Serge Averbukh’ for the addition, at my request, to the design of my Navy rating, the lightening bolts (sparks as they are/were called) in the middle of the CPO insignia. I asked; he came through….When I use my phone, it brings back fond memories of my 20-year Navy career…. Thanks Serge….
Cervical adenocarcinoma. Light micrograph of a cervical smear, showing squamous epithelial cells affected by adenocarcinoma. Cancerous cells are seen at centre, engulfed by attacking white blood cells (neutrophils, black). The cancerous cells are of an irregular shape with enlarged nuclei (purple). Around the cancerous cells, normal epithelial cells are seen stained pink and blue. Adenocarcinoma is a rare malignant epithelial tumour arising from glandular structures. The cause of this cancer is unknown. Treatments for cervical cancer range from laser-therapy to radical surgery to remove the affected area. Papa- nicolaou stain. Magnification: x300 at 35mm size.
