Kari Merritt teaches art at Gold Camp Elementary School in School District 12. Primarily a painter, she likes to make art inspired by nature, as well as her other hobbies such as hiking and cycling. This summer after traveling to Kauai, Hawaii, she created clayprints inspired by those travels and the things she saw there such as birds, waves, water and sunsets. Clayprinting is a process in which images are painted and stenciled on to a clay tablet, then the image is lifted off. This show is a collection of her clayprints and other work.
Anslee Wolfe uses cameras to take in the world around her. She's been doing this for more than 15 years and runs her own photography business, primarily shooting portraits, dogs and weddings. She also photographs randomness, some of which can be seen in this show through the Europe images.
One of the paintings in the show is by Quinn, Kari and Anslee’s 3-year-old son.
