You are welcome to join us for our weekly classes based in Auckland and Whangarei.

These classes are suitable for total beginners and are taught with step by step instructions with lots of individual attention.

We ensure the classes are informal and fun. You will not only get support and encouragement from us you will also get it from the other students.

Over the past 17 years we have developed our own teaching system with 5 principles of drawing. This has been a huge success with enabling people who felt they had no natural talent to be able to draw realistically with fine detail in a very short time.


Come and join us for our fun weekly art classes where we can teach you to draw like a professional. With a bit of practice at home, you will discover very quickly how you improve and your confidence builds.

You are taught on an individual basis with step by step instructions, therefore the art lessons are suitable for everybody. No Natural Talent Required and also no previous art experience needed.

As a new student you can start anytime throughout the term. It doesn't have to be on the first day and you will only pay up to the end of that term. Once you are enroled your space will automatically roll over to the next term unless you specify otherwise.

The classes are $25 per lesson and are paid per term on your first class. If you start after a term has started as a new student, you just pay for the remaining classes.

New students need to allow an extra $38 for art materials

The first couple of terms you are with us covers a lot of pencil techniques, tips and tricks to enable you to draw realistic artworks. Over a period of time you will be taught how to draw animals, landscapes, people, flowers, buildings, portraits and more with different mediums.

To speed up your ability and knowledge of drawing you are always welcome to join us in one of our drawing workshops.

The mediums you can expect to use in the weekly classes are pencil, coloured pencil, pen, charcoal, oil pastel and chalk pastel. There are Acrylic painting workshops available for anyone wanting to add this medium to their learning.

Classes are fun and informal with lots of support from both Richard & Diana and also from the other students in the class.

To ensure we can keep the class numbers to a minimum so you get quality teaching on a one to one basis, there are no allowances, refunds or transfer of classes for any days you can't make it to art class. Your fees pay for your space. It is up to the individual student to attend each class at the registered time and day for that term. Refunds are only given if we have to cancel a class for any reason.
