The Arts Center opens its doors on Saturday, May 18th with an opening reception in Yester House and the Wilson Museum. Seven different exhibits will be on display, including \\\\\\\"Printemps: Visions of Spring\\\\\\\" which showcases over 150 spring-themed works by leading regional artists; two solo shows: one by abstract artist Abby DuBow and a retrospective by local artist and teacher Betsy Byrne Hubner; plus a collection of works by SVAC\\\\\\\'s Artist Instructors offering adult workshops this summer. The Wilson Museum is proud to display nationally touring exhibition \\\\\\\"Our Fragile Home\\\\\\\" by artist Pat Musick and her husband, retired astronaut Jerry Carr, which was inspired by astronauts descriptions of seeing Earth from outer space. Also in Wilson Museum is a display of portraits from the Arts Center\\\\\\\'s permanent collection by highly-regarded artists, as well as a memorial tribute to four women who were longtime SVAC artists, including the wonderful Elfriede Abbe.
Join us for refreshments & live music, meet the artists and reconnect with friends. The reception is free and open to the public, from 2 - 5pm.
