Mike Browns Wildlife and Landscape Exhibit

The Art Center is proud to welcome self-taught artist Mike Brown to our Richard Low Evans Gallery from January 12 to March 29, 2013. Many of his ideas for painting are inspired by memories of those bygone days. While extensive travels around the globe provided an abundance of inspiration for Mike Brown’s artistic creations, his most profound influences remain his love for animals and the
splendor of the scenery that surrounds him. Currently residing in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Mike’s Cherokee Indian heritage infuses his paintings with reverence for every
form of life. In a masterful level of photorealism, his tranquil landscapes capture the harmony between humans and nature or serve as backgrounds for intrinsically detailed wildlife portraits that
fascinate and amaze the observer. The opening reception on January 12, 2013 will be from 5 pm to 7 pm. The exhibit will remain on dispaly until March 29, 2013 during regular Art Center business hours: Tues-Sun 10 am to 6 pm.
