It is an activity that will grow with you and provide more enjoyment as your skills develop! Why not sign up with some of your friends for a very enjoyable, 2 hour long, Grumbacher Acrylic Painting Workshop at Michaels in Chico. Our Professional Painting Instructor, Frank Wilson, has over 40 years experience as a full time artist. Frank will provide clear, hands on instruction about creating dynamic compositions, mixing colors, paint application methods, creating depth, warm and cool colors, and using different brushes and tools to create realism through the use of textures.

In just 2 enjoyable hours you will complete a 9 x 12 inch canvas in one of four subjects, Landscape, seascape, still life or floral. You can frame your masterpiece to hang in your home or even give to someone special as a gift!

You must register at Michaels in Chico at least 24 hours before class.
Classes are limited to just 10 students each.
Tuition cost is only $25 per class plus the cost of your materials.
The basic Grumbacher Starter Paint kit is $49.99 and will last for at least six or more classes. (six paintings)
You can use your 40% off coupon and that is less than $8 per class for materials!

Beginner Workshops are 2 hours in length and you will received expert instruction and guidance from a certified Grumbacher Instructor to create an original 9 x 12 inch acrylic painting to take home with you.

Intermediate Workshops are four hours in length and are designed for students with some previous painting experience.You will work with an extended palette of colors using more advanced techniques and work on 12 x 16 inch canvas (or larger if you prefer).
