FOISC 2ND ANNUAL ART SHOW FUNDRAISER

FOISC (Friends of the Indio Senior Center) will be presenting an art show here at the Indio Senior Center featuring artwork by local artists who are members of the DES ARTs Club in Indio and will also be featuring artwork by various artists from various clubs in our communities.

Monday through Friday

January 12 – 16, 2015

7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The art show will feature various works of art for sale, ranging from pottery, painted gourds, paintings of all mediums, pen and ink and notecards. There are some very talented artists in DES ARTS and in our valley and they are excited to be represented here at ISC. Artwork will be displayed in the Multi-Purpose room, next to the Lobby. Artists will be available during the show to answer questions and discuss the artwork medium and style. An artist will be demonstrating their art techniques.

We will have a raffle drawing each afternoon at 1:00 p.m., for donated artwork. This was an exciting and huge success during our show last January. What an opportunity to win artwork for a donation of $1.00 per ticket or $5.00 for six tickets and the proceeds goes to the Indio Senior Center.

This is a fun opportunity to meet the artists and see some great artwork and purchase works of art for your homes, and help raise funds for FOISC.
