Drawing What You Cant See

I will be teaching a class entitled, \"Drawing What You Can\'t See\". My first class will start June 1st and run through June 22nd. Class hours will be on Saturdays from 1-4 PM. Details are below. If interested, please contact me via message and I will send information. Class size is kept small to allow for one-on-one instruction.

The purpose in the class is to familiarize the student with the supplies and techniques Matt uses to create his work. Beginning with the explanation of the pencils and erasers and how to prepare them to the type and texture of paper and how it relates to textures, the class will move into exercises on how to create textures and layers. Once a basic foundation is established, the student will create small drawings based on the techniques learned.
This class will be held on Saturdays from 1-4 PM for 4 weeks. This will allow group instruction time as well as one on one instruction with the instructor. Although it spans 4 weeks, the time gap allows students to work patiently on their work (or create new ones) and be ready for new instruction the next week. The last week of the class, Matt will be available to help with personal projects and offer peer reviews of personal artworks.
Cost for the class is $175. This does not include supplies, but a supply list will be provided. Class size is limited to 6 students, with a minimum of 2 students. The class is designed around intensive one-on-one with the student and instructor.
