Are you interested in taking your photography to the next level and have an opportunity for your work to be printed and put on Display at one of Georgia's most popular State Parks?
If so, this is the workshop for you. Since May 11th is International Migratory Bird Day, it is only fitting that we start out the workshop on Saturday morning learning all about bird photography through a classroom presentation followed by a private bird tour during which time each participant will have time to practice all we went over in the classroom with one on one assistance from the instructors.
Afternoon Session
After the bird photography session, we will change gears and start preparing for Saturday evenings highlight event, which Red Top Mountain is famous for. This is the amazing Iron Pour. If you have never seen one, you are in for an amazing treat.
After our afternoon presentation and hands-on practice for this event, you will walk away with images that will stun and amaze your friends and fans. This portion of the workshop will last from lunch time until just after dark when the Iron Pour reaches its most extreme point for photographic opportunities.
Sunday Morning
We will continue covering all the bases with an early morning informative sunrise session, followed by a walk around the lake during the "golden hour" when nature and wildlife photography is at its peak.
Grand Finale
During this weekend workshop, including several classroom presentations and several hours of hands-on practice, you will learn everything you need to know about capturing great images in a variety of situations. Upon completion of this workshop, you will be far more equipped to “get the shot” no matter what the challenge is. And what better way to conclude this workshop than to have the opportunity to show off your amazing new skills during a presentation and competition in which the winners will have the opportunity to have their work printed and display at Red Top Mountain State Park.
Final Thoughts
This workshop is designed with the novice and intermediate photographer in mind. An absolute beginner will walk away with intermediate skills and an intermediate photographer will walk away with more defined skills. Everyone will walk away with what may very well be their most stunning images ever. If you want to take your photography to a whole new level in one weekend, this is the workshop for you.
