Arts on the Lake Collaborative Art Exhibit

Arts on the Lake announces its May Collaborative Art Exhibit. The exhibit will feature the work of local area artists working collaboratively in a diverse array of art media and style, including oil, acrylic, watercolor, collage, photography, sculpture, and mixed media. Artists’ backgrounds range from those who are nationally recognized to those who will be showing their work for the first time. Many artworks will be offered for sale in a wide range of prices.

The May Collaborative Art Exhibit Opening Reception will be held on Saturday, May 17 from 1-5. Many of the exhibiting artists will be on hand that day to discuss their work. The reception includes homemade refreshments and music. Admission is free. During opening weekend the Friends of the Kent Public Library will sponsor a hand-selected Arts Book Sale of both bargains and collector items in the classroom adjacent to the exhibit gallery.

After the opening reception on May 17, the exhibit will continue on Sunday, May 18, and on Saturday, May 24 thru Monday, May 26 (Memorial Day). The exhibit will be open from 1-5 each day. Arts on the Lake is located at 640 Route 52, Kent Lakes, NY 10512.
