Joe McClaskey is an artist based in Palm Springs California.
Color, light and expression are used to create these digital images, imagined through 10 years of self taught Adobe Photo Shop. Just like in traditional paintings, Joe starts with a blank screen and uses the program and its tools as his palette to create the images .
Joe studied Fine Arts for 4 years at the University of California Los Angeles and for 2 years at Miami Dade College. He has exhibited in Los Angeles, Orlando, and Palm Springs with sell out shows. The City of Palm Springs has honored him with many awards including Best in Show and first, second, and third place in the digital categories. A regular contributor to the Artwall, Joe served on it\'s board (2003-2007) receiving the Gloria Greene humanitarian award in 2006 from the A.I.D.S. Assistance Program.
