After reading Michael Ondaatje\\\'s work, The Collected Works Of Billy The Kid, Liz has been mesmerized by the visual images that spring from Ondaatje\\\'s words. She lived and worked in New Mexico for six weeks where she began numerous canvasses which were then completed in her home studio in Victoria, BC, Canada. Liz readily admits to her obsession with the life and times of this mythologized outlaw who continues to find his way into her sketchbooks and paintings.
