The Art of Watercolor Painting
Class Title: The Art of Watercolor Painting
Tuesday 10:00 am - 12:00 pm; 6 sessions starting January 8, 2013, ending February 12, 2013
This course is for students who have some experience
in watercolor painting and want to advance their
development of skills and techniques. Emphasis will be
on creative experimentation and individual expression
in painting while focusing on the fundamentals of
washes, brushwork, color, and special effects. Each
week will concentrate on a different subject and skill.
The class will begin with a brief talk and demonstration
of techniques — including transparent, wet-into-wet,
opaque and color mixing. Each class will end with a
group critique and discussion in a supportive, nonjudgmental
environment.
