Wishing everyone a safe Memorial Day weekend! In this area of the country it is still called Decoration Day, when fresh wreaths and flags are placed upon graves. It is an amazing sight to see! Nothing sadder than a forgotten grave it is said... if you have the ability to place flags for those who may have been forgotten, or it could be that family may not have the means to honor them, it is good to do. I will always remember a very special woman who honored my uncle's grave in France with a flag, took a photograph, and shared it with me. I framed this picture for my mother, who wondered about her brother's resting place. We honor and cannot thank enough those who gave their lives for freedom's cause, one day we will meet in the great up yonder....
