What People are Saying About Jeffcoat Art

"Your painting of Matt captured the essence of the beautiful person he was and made a treasured gift for my sister. Thank you for helping me to do something so special at a very difficult time."
-Yvonne (Georgia) commissioned "Matt" (memorial painting)

"When my son saw Russell's painting, no words were needed to say how touched he was. We were amazed at the detail and true likeness you were able to capture. Thanks so much for sharing your remarkable gift!"
-Yvonne (Georgia) commissioned "Russell" (memorial painting)

"Hello!
I am the proud owner of this portrait. When I saw it, I thought to myself "wow, my obsession with this man just got CLASSY". A truly beautiful piece, that captures him really well (attention to detail--I am sure that the friend who commissioned this for me pointed out how his beauty mark had to be there, and in just the right place)! I have no idea where to put this thing, because it might just be too classy for my apartment. Thanks very much for your hard work. Love it!"

-kikuko-kamimura (Japan) received commission of "Yasu" (musician portrait)

"I have been fortunate over the years to acquire two paintings from Christy, which have both surpassed my highest expectations. The first was Duane Allman (my all time favorite guitarist). He was on stage with the lights shining through his red hair, his eyes closed as he plays a solo. She captured it perfectly. The sublime contentment of his soul as the music flows out of him. All I can say is WOW!

A year later, I also had her do one of Layne Staley from Alice in Chains. In the original picture he looks a little haughty or aloof, but in the portrait he has a haunted look. A glimpse into his tortured being. She obviously listened to his music and captured his true essence. I would feel honored to have one of these, and can't believe how lucky I am to have the pair. The only question is who do I have her paint next."

-Karl (Georgia) received "Duane Allman" & "Layne Staley" (musician portraits)

"Thank you Christy for painting that special picture of my Mom for my Dad. It turned out better then expected and when my Dad received it he cried because it looked so much like her. You captured that smile and how happy she was when the photo was taken. My Dad said every time he looks at that picture he feels like she is looking down on him. You are very talented and I hope to have you paint something for us again."

-Roni (Georgia) commissioned "Hermine" (memorial painting)

"We were all able to get together tonight for our Christmas with my mom who arrived home today from North Dakota. She loved the picture and there were tears of the good variety. Thank you so much for painting my grandma!"

-Tracy (Wisconsin) commissioned "Irene" (memorial painting)
