Vintage Coca Cola Art Mural Journey

I am so excited to announce the completion of the Restoration of a Vintage Coca Cola "Go refreshed" art mural that I recently finished as part of the Moulton, AL Downtown Revitalization Project - with the assistance of my wonderful husband, Jeff, we had a most exciting and hard working summer rocking it at the Coca Cola Art Mural site! At the corner of Court Street and Main Street, we completely began with the freshly pressure washed brick walls, and restored the vintage 1950's Coca Cola "Go refreshed" artwork complete with the vintage "V.W. Sparks Grocery" banner - and what a labor of love! We kicked off the art mural on April 9th, 2015 with local Moulton Elementary School students, and we worked most weekends - and according to official Coca Cola Specifications and color charts, we watched it come together. I truly was excited, for this had been a goal of mine since I was very young, to complete a Coca Cola Art Mural. Randall Elley, professional photographer has documented the whole journey and will be submitting it for a possible feature on the "Journey" tab of Coca Cola's Website. Mellissa Meeks is now listed as a Coca Cola Muralist in the Archives, and has several new vintage Coca Cola Art Murals in the works, and planning for participation in future downtown revitalization projects.
