I have finished up a new 8"x10" oil on canvas. It belongs to the Texas Collection. It's debut was delayed until now because my wife...that should need no further explanation, but for those who don't know her, she insisted I add Indian Paintbrush wildflowers to the field.
This year the wildflowers in Texas are thriving. Thank you California for sending us your rain water and for the new In-N-Out Burger that just opened up. However, keep your tax code and weird people, we have enough of those up in Austin.
But, I have to remind readers that oil wells are an historic staple in Texas and we are quite proud of the many ways we generate energy. This painting honors that tradition.
