Second Quarterly Update

1 May 2011
Here is my second quarterly update. Thanks to all of you who take the time to check this out. I really appreciate it!

Galleries and Exhibitions –
May 1: Today is the last day to take advantage of great prices for great original art at Bainbridge Arts and Crafts’ annual “Almost Perfect Sale”. Don’t let the construction scare you away! There is lots of parking on the side streets especially near the waterfront park. Right after that sale is over, BAC will be mounting a show called “Lines and Shorelines” featuring drawings of the shores of Bainbridge Island. I will have three pastels included in the show. Nothing is framed, so again, here is a chance to find original art for a great price!

Through July 4th: I have two photographs and one painting at the “Sacred and Spiritual Places and Icons” group show at University House in Issaquah WA. The two photographs are from a late 1980’s trip to Europe – one from Sacre Coeur in Paris and the other from St. Stephen’s in Vienna.

June 10 – August 26: I have been accepted into the 2011 Kent Summer Art Exhibit. On July 13th, the City of Kent will host a Gala Artist’s Reception at the Centennial Center Gallery.

July 8 – 10: I will have three new paintings at the Emerald Downs Equine Art Show! This is a new one for me and I’m looking forward to it!

Awards and Kudos –
Award of Achievement – for Market Conversation at the 2011 Ocean Shores Fine Art Juried Show, April 8-10 in Ocean Shores WA.
