Saint Louis Cathedral New Orleans

The other day I heard the fellow refer to New Orleans as NOLA. Being from there you might think I would believe he was from there as well. For myself when you are from there and live in or around the city you never hear it called NOLA. Of course we have our way to pronounce it and that's how I know you aren't from New Orleans.

So if you don't pronounce the city the way the local people do or you use an acronym and you take a vacation there please stop by this church. Walk in a pay your respects. It's free but give a few dollars because its a nice way to save a piece of history.
I painted this with the thought of the way I remembered seeing it. My memories are all good but some of the days can be overcast with clouds that make it blue.
