Rays Random Ramblings - 2

A lot of the photography you see online and in magazines is very carefully planned. Photographers will often wake up early, get to their location, and wait patiently until just the right lighting conditions. All for one shot. While I have been known to get up early and plan shots, I also enjoy just walking around with my camera looking for photo opportunities. Sometimes, I see classic land and seascapes. Many times I see the unseen shot (like that beautiful ornate hinge I just uploaded). Sometimes the unseen shot, while not really artistic, will just make me laugh. Case in point - a picture I just uploaded to my facebook page. Lots of people were taking pictures of the flooding in Hartford that day. Everyone else walked past the sign. Note to self - don't be afraid to look for a little humor in life.

March Madness - UConn/Kentucky: less than 1800 of the 11+ million brackets submitted in the ESPN Tournament Challenge picked this matchup for the final game.

UConn/Notre Dame: The battle of the undefeated teams - I'd be surprised if there were 1800 people who didn't pick this matchup.

To quote a saying from previous years - UConn! U Can!!
