Oatland Island Wildlife Center

I got approached by the Oatland Island Wildlife Center to do a painting of one of their animals. I chose Shanti a cougar that lives there and is two years old. This is a rough sketch that I did for the concept of the painting. The Wildlife Center will be placing this painting up for auction to help raise money that is needed to provide care for the animals, everything from vet care to improving / maintaining the living conditions. So of course when they asked it was a no brainier to say yes!
