My mission today

My mission today, is to get rid of this or that, holding me back, whatever this or that is.

Sacred fire -
may I ask of you,
what must we do?

To fully dry the mud,
warm the cold in my blood,
light up the night,
and push away my fright.

Carry my prayers,
upstairs,
for the listener to hear,
pass no judgement, have no fear.

That, with mudless feet,
an impassioned heat,
a lighted night,
with fear nowhere in sight,

as the fire is made,
so too my visions and dreams,
go from lemons to lemonade.
