Dear Mr. Davey, I loved your article and it is so true. I am a mid fifties frustrated artist. However, I am making in roads with two exhibits this year, and I am currently on two art web sites, this being one of them, You are sooo right, complete inaction on the part of an artist will only result in the art sitting in a box in some dusty attic, till the artist dies, then new owners sell it at a garage sale.
