Geometric Nonrepresentational

I think I am a lot closer than I thought I was to where I want to be. I was going in the right direction with the abstract buuuuut I didn't realize lines were such a big deal to me. I have created a piece which I haven't named and haven't posted yet. It is my favorite by far. I think this is where I am going to go with my style and my brand as an artist. I am feeling very optimistic and very much alive and myself. Because I have so many mental illnesses at once my psychiatrist said I have focused so hard on being socially acceptable and being a normal seeming person that I would flip out because it was too much pressure to never be myself. So up until now.... I am on four medications all for mental illness.... I haven't been myself. As soon as I began taking the medicine something lifted and I started painting and sketching and I haven't stopped in 7 months. I know I know you all have years on me. But it is never too late to begin plus I will be 25 this month. I am still pretty young. I have about 7 exhibits I will be submitting my work to. I have three pieces all ready to go for a show starting the 24th which is very exciting. Happy painting all!
