Frogs

The first trailer we lived in was 30 feet long. We had no slides which meant there was only about 2 feet down the center which we could walk. We lived near a beach and we had a terrible storm which tore down a pier and part of the trailer park. I had nightmares for weeks where I was either surrounded by water or washed away in the tide! There was a lot of standing water nearby and we were serenaded by frogs songs every night. One morning we were awakened by an odd loud sound soon to be followed by a cry from my youngest son. Sitting on his pillow was a small frog screaming his lungs out while my son stared back returning his scream! I never knew frogs screamed. For about 2 days we had small frogs hopping through the trailer. We never found out how they got in. In remains the "Mystery of the Frogs."
