"Festival Costumes 1785" . . . Geishas dressing in beautifully ornate festival costumes. Their colorful kimonos are made of brightly patterned fabric with fringe. Placed amongst the fringe are many small bells. A tall paper lantern provides light. A page of the series, Seiro Niwaka Onnageisha no Bu (Popular Female Performers of the Green Houses).
