International Dance Day ............in many cultures dance was originally a sacred act. For example, in ancient Egypt, the dancers lived in temples and participate in religious rituals. In ancient Greece, the Muse Terpsichore dance was included in the pantheon of deities. And Hindus believe that the universe is an endless dance of Lord Shiva - Tandava. According to legend, in a frenzied dance it acquires enormous power, which is used for creation and for destruction. Thus supports the natural rhythm of the world's existence from birth to death. So far in India belong to the dance as a high art, subordinate to strict laws and regulations.
