I am new to this blogging thing and while I am working on selling some of my images, I am also still learning and trying to be a better photographer, so here goes. I am a member of a photography meetup group, led by Phil Spitze (http://philspitze.artistwebsites.com/) and Saturday night Phil held one of his teaching tours. We went to downtown Syracuse, NY to shoot some Christmas lights at night and a few shots of Dinosaur BBQ. We started at the National Grid building, the worked our way to Dinosaur BBQ and down through Clinton Square where the city's Christmas tree is. It was a great time, despite the weather being very drizzly and damp, which had its pluses (great reflections) and minuses (constantly having to clear lenses). All in all I think everyone that attended had a good, if not great, time. Thanks Phil, look forward to other tours!
