"Blood Circulation 1851" . . . Vintage portrait of William Harvey demonstrating to King Charles I his theory of blood circulation. The deer on the table was a reference to the fact that Harvey did much of his research at this time (1632 to 1636) on the carcasses of the Kings Hunt.
