1 Sale Per 1000 Hits

That seems to be the ratio I have come up with.

I don't know how it applies to other people, but for me, for every thousand hits I get, a sale occurs somehow.

This has been pretty consistent since I started on this site.

I will let you know if this changes.

So, the incentive for me is to work towards the next thousand hits, and in that time, I should get another sale.

We'll see how long this ratio works.

Of course, I'd love to get a sale for every one-hundred hits. That would be rad, actually. I doubt that would ever happen, though. Most people don't buy anything on the web, and certainly not art....and certainly not my art...haha.
