Description

The tree here is taken from my drawing ‘Little Dorrito’ but the trunk and branches are treated differently. The bark is painted in a series of stripes which start as yellow and then merge into orange and red. The topmost branches have been curved and twisted to show the blowing of the wind while the leaves have been painted impressionistically to indicate that this is a gentle breeze.
