I've been a member of FAA about a year now and am just discovering some of these great discussions! I'm a slow and distracted learner.. Thanks for this discussion! It has some invaluable information that I will continue to refer to. Having a great need to get my art out in the world, (like us all), this really helps me see FAA as a great tool, in multiple ways, to make that happen. Thanks for posting such an infomative and helpful FAQ's1
email accounts at fineartamerica.com and they will cancel it. Make sure you let them know what you want cancelled.
If you want to close your account at FAA totally, even the free one, email the same address (subject: account cancellation) and they will take everything off for you.
Do you know if anyone else has had this problem loading headshots: I delete the current image, no problem there. I can upload the correct photo, everything seems fine, I hit Okay... and the Old Photo appears again! I have gone in and out of the website to make sure I am properly deleting the old photo, but when I upload a different photo, the old one comes back!
Here are a couple of quick methods for seeing it imediately...
1. Go off the page and empty your browser cache. When you go back you should see it.
2. Hit F5 a couple of times. You should see it.
3. Right click on the image and View Image, refresh that page, hit your back button and hit refresh. You will definitely now see it.
I found a number of fineart emails in my spam folder today - and some from people I've talked with before. As I normally just delete that folder every day or two, I cannot go back and check it. It just so happenned today my sister sent something and I finally found it there. If anyone emailed to me and didn't get a response, I apologize. I'll try to fix it.

It's not just you Bonnie... I have been looking for my stats for a couple days and can't find them... thought they might have been moved to another location and they are not anywhere to be found... anyone else not finding their stats? Did something change? I haven't tried the other sites, just FAA so far.
FORGET THE ABOVE... FOUND MY STATS... BOTTOM TO OF THE BEHIND THE SCENES CONTROL PANEL... Sorry got used it just popping up on the top of the page... I'm good... thanks.
:) While in the question mood... how do the off-site buttons under the images work... I have one image that generated according to FAA over 95 Pinterest views in 3 or 4 days, but I see no activity on my Pinterest account and the FAA viewer count is still something like only 12 views... so the question is: Are those button count tallies (Pinterest, StumbleUpon, etc.) supposed to be included in the viewing count, as I assume the image when clicked on, like in Pinterest, sends the viewer to the FAA website, and if so, shouldn't the FAA viewing stats include those "guest" views from non-members "Googling" or forwarded from Pinterest or the other sites? OR is the FAA viewing stats only FAA members viewing the image, which would be kind-of unimportant stats as many times they are our artist peers, other non-buying FAA artists, viewing the image for contests and the like? Please elaborate. Thank you.
The image of my artwork is still missing. I have not heard anything from your end. My messages are still not found. Oh I have original messages sent to me that say I have 3 messages at FAA. they were not deleted .Could you get back to me. Thank you.
I can't seem to find any information on Group Administration and was curious if there is a way to transfer administrator privileges to another group member. I have nowhere near the amount of free time I used to have to run a group, but don't want to just delete it. Is there a way to pick someone else to run it?
Abbie, you had a section on the tutorials website that talked about adding HTML tags. I can't seem to find that section in the tutorials website. Has that been removed or relocated to a different website?

Np problem Abbie I didn't read the rules properly but was annoyed as I know the photographer (the real one not the copier) personally, and he does not give away unlicenced images to be re-sold as 'digital art'.
I've sent a few messages to technical support about my problem and haven't yet received a response, so apologies for posting this publicly, but I need HELP, please.
Several months ago, I changed my email account details here on FAA. Ever since then, no email alerts have come through when members comment on my paintings. I also click "Yes" to follow group discussions and these don't happen either. I'm sure I've followed all the instructions correctly. This is becoming soooooo frustrating.
Could somebody in technical support PLEASE look into this and assist me?
I am trying to remove a my image from a site that does not have my permission. I wrote to the site a couple of months ago but have not gotten any cooperation. How do I find company direct email and place of business? Site is in Spanish and have used bing translator to send my email. I hope you help me with this. Thanks.
You need to look on the site which is stealing the work and find a contact link. Then you need to file a DMCA notice (Digital Millennium Copyright Act) I have single image notices on my personal site and a sample http://1stangel.co.uk/cease-and-desist-letters/
Unfortunately these need to be sent in by the artist themselves to the site stealing them or to the server host of that site.
