A superbly accomplished painter.

To me, the word comes to mind in regards to his work...... and to his inner self, is a four letter word.

That word is

PURE

This gentleman, not only figuratively puts his "Heart" into his work, he literally does.

I am totally flabbergasted, and honored!
Thank you Roger my friend, and thank you to all of you who are so nice to wish me well. I feel greatly honored to be given the Tony Award, but awards would be nothing without the kind recognition of friends. FAA is a great place to make friends, and to share the art we create and love. Yes, I do put a heart in each of my paintings. The heart represents love, and not least is love for dear friends such as you all.

As I mentioned in the other thread, I would love to have it longer. But, I have no place at this hectic time to properly display it,

And Gene,
It might be few more days before you receive this wonderful sculpture,... with my house, my head, and now , my niece, who's living room I've been sleeping and typing in, being presently in intensive care at the local hospital after having a major epileptic seizure, 2 days ago, She's now awake but confused after many hours in a coma.....(.I've gone too far.) ...I have to find the appropriate time to quietly engrave my name on this wonderful award.

Now, to everyone, this is Gene's thread....Any comments addressed to me would be appreciated, but please write them on the thread Tony posted.

THE TONY AWARD IS NOW ON IT'S WAY TO TEXAS!!

I know, I said, that because, I had, at this time , no place to properly to display and show off this wonderful honor,and would be passing it on to what I consider...the most deserving artist here in our community..

I found though, that it was very difficult to let it go, as it sat to the right of this lap top on this tiny table in my niece's apartment.

This morning, I struggled to scratch a barely legible signature on the original base, ...tucked between 2 signatures, of 2 of my HEROES...The strong confident hand of Mr. Shull and the beautiful calligraphy of Ms. Hathaway...What an Honor!!

Now, Mr. Gregory......THIS HONOR IS ALL YOURS
