This year's Halloween image... "Something Wicked"
The old "Lowman House" in Odenton Maryland was built in the 1880s and has been abandoned since the late 70s. It was demolished earlier this year.
2D Version...
Below - 3D Stereo Crossview Version...
To View: Gently converge (cross) your eyes and focus on the middle image that appears while ignoring the outside. (not everyone is successful with this method).

@Sandra - Look in the lower-right corner of your image detail page. There is a box labeled "image link." Click in that box, then press "CTRL" and "C" at the same time to copy the HTML for your image. Then, jump to your message and press "CTRL" and "V" at the same time to paste it here. I hope this is helpful! :)

Except for you Dale, and possibly a few others with 3D glasses, I'm probably wasting time and space sharing my 3D anaglyph images. Your image is wonderful in it's own right!

Donna, just post in the message box below for a comment or to post your latest work, not the same as being able to reply to a particular piece of art though.

@ Rich,
On the page with the picture on FAA you want to post, look down the right hand side of the page. At the bottom on the right you'll see a grey and white box. Click on the code under image link to select it. Hit control c to copy the code. In discussions under add or edit post hit control c to paste the code. Once the code is pasted you can change the size by altering the width and height pixels. Make sure to make any changes proportional.

MARCH OF ThE WIDE WALLS... digging it, my personal feeling on March being feet, to see wheels instead kind of puts a tension in my psychi that wakes me up... titles are so much a part of an image, methinks... sidewalls kin od echoes in my head association with tires as well... and the stormy sky echos Ides of March, more tension, especially experienced in the wake of Sandy... tight composition as wheels roll into perspectives horizonal line... waiting for Dorothy's whirlwind, storm ahead even as heading toward summer, so now even summer threatens... and the machinery, the heavy metal, the weight, the labor lost, the labor needed, the food, the dawn of gentle breeze's sunshine.

RETURN TO EARTH... like a map that refers to directions that would only make sense to a traveler working with dimensions other than human/terrestial... gives me the feeling of such anotherworldly observer his map spread out before what he/she/it calls eyes on what he calls a table/laptop in how he/she/it addresses space in his/her/its 2 or 5 or whatever dimensional space...

VINE ON THE TREE... had a vision once, while looking at a lawn, of how DNA just wants to reproduce, across the lawn, across the earth, across space, wherever there's room, more space, more life, more information, more information building, accessing, and on back through the time/space line to the first modular of information that began all the duplicating/building/varying/creating... and so I'm reminded looking upon the limbs and webs of the vine on the tree grounded yet sparkling as starbursts...

3D stereo crossview version of the "Loader" above...
To View: Gently converge (cross) your eyes and focus on the middle image that appears while ignoring the outside. Not everyone is successful but if you are, you will see depth. This method becomes easier with each practice and will eventually become 2nd nature.

For the present time Im on Mauritius (island near East Coast of Africa ) and was visiting a beautiful Royal Botanical Garden. There are a lot of unique plants and trees and among them fantastic Victoria Regia (the biggest water lily) - so here you can see the photography from that place:

Love that portrait Dale!
Here is my latest as of just now. It was an extreme crop and not very sharp. I decided to make it into a smart object and enlarge it a little. I also had to sharpen it quite a bit. I created an Oil Painting Effect via Photoshop to help hide the mentioned flaws. I loved the content so much, that I wanted to try and salvage the image. As an oil effect, it looks ok to me at 100% resolution. What do you think?

My latest experimental graphic processing of my photo. I kept two versions. One has a slightly transparent background and the other is solid. Since I made the slats further apart than most would have, I thought the transparency would help the cohesiveness of the image but I found if it was too transparent, the openings weren't as effective. As usual, it's difficult for me to select one over the other. I think I should do another version with the slats closer together and solid in-between. ??????
. . .

Brian, I really like that one. My preference is the first one. The second one says "Just in case you're not smart enough to figure it out, look at the transparent bits to help." Or maybe it's just me.

@Howard,
Thank you for responding. I appreciate it. I did another as I had eluded to, with the "slats" closer together and this time, with 7 instead of 5 openings. It's a different image altogether but done in a similar way. Your NYPD car really gives the feeling of urgency, with the tracking capture and resulting motion blur of the background.

Not everyone is successful freeviewing the crossview format but if you are, it becomes easier each time and eventually 2nd nature!

This is a pano created from combining two images of the same scene together. The pano was not planned, but I noticed I had two shots that could work together.
The structures are scaled-down (I'm guessing 1/5), and built on the person's property.
There's even a water wheel on the far side, obscured in this view. There are ducks, geese, and on this day a Blue Heron in the water...

The Hideaway is that place that no one knows about and you can unwind without being bothered. In this case a surfer gets away on a remote stretch of beach and lets his dog run free as he relaxes and gets in a little wave action. The Hideaway was created with elements from thirty originally shot digital files and blended together with forty-five layers of artwork and filters in Adobe Photoshop CS.

I don't expect many (if any) reading this thread to have the proper Red/Cyan filtered 3D glasses needed to view this anaglyph below but if you do, you should enjoy it!
You can find good inexpensive Red/Cyan filtered 3D glasses online and some places even offer a free pair. I recommend Rainbow Symphony or American Paper Optics.

Here are my newest pieces, posted just a few moments ago. I'd really like some comments on these as I just started using a new editing software and I'd like to know what people think of the end products. If you decide to post a comment, please do it on the piece itself, not in here on the thread. I probably won't be back in here in a while. Thanks!
