I enjoy Google+ and promote FAA whenever I can. Wish some in other countries would speak English.

Seems it should have a shorter URL, but can't find any but this...

I plan on developing it further...right now it is too similar to my first profile

Beth...as part of ongoing education...
What is the difference in page and profile?

Posted by: Abbie Shores on 02/09/2012 - 11:13 AM

Your profile is meant to be in your own name. If you were a business, each staff member would have their own profile page.

The business pages they brought out is for all your business news.

So if someone wants me, they only have to put in Elizabeth Edwards
If someone wants my business they look for 1stAngel Arts Magazine

Each staff member can now administrate and add to the business page. Nobody else can add to or administer my profile.

Warren I think I am more confused that you are, I am too old, started too late and too tired to start, I do what I can and try and understand what i cannot,

Posted by: Judy Kay on 02/10/2012 - 8:36 AM

When I setup my initial profile I was thinking strictly in terms of "business"...it was never about me per SE...Now for me to develop my page is redundant...I will eventually do it anyway!
I just checked out Beth's profiles and basically she has done the same. Her personal profile directs you to her business...So maybe I am not too far off track!

Posted by: Abbie Shores on 02/10/2012 - 8:48 AM

Yes I was there before pages happened so my profile was set up for the business too. My page is almost redundant but I have now added people to help run it and so the magazine page will hav emore on it.

Posted by: Douglas Wilks on 02/15/2012 - 12:56 AM

Yes, I am on Google+. I have a profile: https://plus.google.com/109083249415638949609#109083249415638949609/posts

I have not yet created a Google+ page, yet. I have been busy; looking at more information on marketing and generating sales, making new images, editing and cropping images, daily errands, job searching, helping family and friends, and creating new and short promo videos on Animoto.

I just went through this thread and added most of you. I know I unintentionally skipped some due to operator error. Just add me and I'll add you too.

I am so new at FAA. If I may ask a few questions, please. Can you just open a site on Google? And put your art on it? Is there a fee? Thank you for your responses.

I really want to change my cover to the larger format but there is a message that states that you can not undo the change once it is submitted....Has anyone had any issues with that...or do you get a good preview before you submit...I would hate to submit a photo and have it off kilter or something!

@Judy - Here is a tutorial with a trick on how to un-do the super large cover photo and replace with a smaller one: http://blog.autorevo.com/2013/03/smaller-google-cover-photo/

Do you sell your pictures/artwork on these sights or do you just show your work? Do you direct your viewers back to FAA? Thanks for the info.
