Sharing Images On Facebook

Anyone know if there is a way to share images with the embedded link without parts of the image being cropped out? The automatic cropping makes image composition look off and I am guessing most won't realize the entire image isn't showing, which could be a big turnoff. I think I remember the issue being resolved before, but it seems to be happening again.

Thanks

For a few days they were uncropped but they went back to cropping. Especially bad for vertical images!

I don't even post vertical images and I am hesitant to post some horizontal images. Unless you mention the entire image isn't shown, most people will probably not know and therefore be less attracted to the image. I wish they would fix the issue.

I still post the link ... horizontals looks iffy but ok on personal pages ... but on my biz page, if I'm really gung-ho on the image, I'll watermark it heavily and upload it in the comments section. Oh, and "tag" myself with a ©, too. The images show up okay-ish if you link them in groups. I don't know of any other way around it until FB gets their act together.

And Donnie, yeah, I've been advising, FB is chopping off heads and feets again ... if interested, you can click into the image and see the whole thing. Which, actually, does us a service as they might pop in here and decide to buy.

: ))

hope springs eternal.
